EPIDIDYMIS:
Grossly, it is divided into head, body, and tail.
Extremely coiled, length 40 m in bull and boar and 70 m in stallion. Spermatozoa require about 10-15 days to pass through the epididymis. It is lined by pseudo-stratified columnar cells with branching microvilli, called stereocilia, and is surrounded by loose connective tissue and a few smooth muscle fibers.
